Leighton Meester is an American actress, model and songwriter. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama "Gossip Girl." Her acting career when she was a young. She took part in the stage production in her local town for "Wizard of Oz" throughout her youth. That sparked her fascination to perform. She began working by performing in commercials as well as modeling. As part of her modeling projects, she has worked for major brands including 'Herbal Essentials as well as "Vera Wang and 'Jimmy Choo and 'Ralph Lauren. Although she started her modeling career as an actress, she then began acting too. The beginning of her acting career was a cameo role in the TV show 'Law and Order'. She has since appeared in several feature films and TV series which include 'CountryStrong", 'Monte Carlo', and Killer Movie. In addition to her role as an actor, Meester was a part of notable music artists including 'Cobra Starship' and singer Robin Thicke, and recorded songs.
