Her most well-known work is her role as Ashley Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. At the age of four she began to sing and was soon able to earn some recognition by asking her mother to send her to Sesame Street auditions. The actress began her journey as regular performers in the year 1985 when she was a six year old on Sesame Street, a PBS children's show. She continued her acting career throughout New York City with many shows such as Fences, a Broadway production, and Orfeo del Campo which is an off-Broadway production. When she was seven, she appeared in Star Search and won twice with a rating of four stars for her appearance another time.
