Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. She received her cumlaude degree from The University of Missouri Columbia with a degree in Communications and Theater. She started her career with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing more than 20 musicals and plays. The most notable of these were The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven titles at Los Angeles' Storybook Theatre. Kelly has also begun landing film and television roles, as she continued her improv classes with The Groundlings. Her voice is distinctive and her small size makes her able to perform a range of roles. Her name was well-known to the general public for playing the part of the vile Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. But, she is better known for her bright and cheerful receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as the main character on TV Land's The Exes which she was an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the days. She was also a Regular as the sassy, sexpert Little Sister to Alyssa Milano in the ABC show Romantically Challenged as well as the mom in a stressed-out suburban home on the show on CW's No Tomorrow. She sang in soprano for many cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recent roles include the charming and dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet life which is quiet with her two sons under the age of five. She is a lover of sewing and write and volunteers at various school events.
